About us

Central Oregon Bentonite Company was founded in 1957 by Lewis (Ole) Weaver and his son Carl Weaver. In 1967 the cat litter business was formed. Bentonite has proved helpful in sealing freshwater ponds, irrigation ditches, reservoirs, sewage, industrial water lagoons and in grouting permeable soil. All mining, grinding and bagging is done on site 60 miles SE of Prineville, Oregon Family owned and operated since 1957.

Can be filled with 1/4in minus or 1/4-3/4in sized material
2000-2200 lbs Sacks
These sacks can be filled with any of our bulk material but are commonly filled with Either 1/4in minus or 2in minus
